Scheme Name: AI Careers for Women
Launched by: Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India in partnership with Microsoft & industry bodies
Purpose: Empower women with skills, training and career opportunities in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced tech roles across India.
🎯 1. योजना का उद्देश्य (Objective)
AI Careers for Women का मुख्य लक्ष्य है महिलाओं को AI और तकनीकी क्षेत्रों में करियर बनाने के लिए सशक्त बनाना, ताकि:
✔ टेक क्षेत्र में महिलाओं की भागीदारी बढ़े
✔ AI कौशल सीखकर रोजगार के अवसर मिलें
✔ डिजिटल अर्थव्यवस्था में महिलाओं की भूमिका मजबूत हो
यह पहल लिंग असमानता को कम करने और AI‑उन्मुख नौकरियों के लिए महिलाओं को तैयार करने पर केंद्रित है।
👩💻 2. कौन कर सकता है आवेदन (Eligibility)?
यह कार्यक्रम खास तौर पर डिज़ाइन किया गया है ताकि:
✔ महिला छात्राएँ (उच्च शिक्षा में)
✔ Non‑STEM (बिना तकनीकी पृष्ठभूमि) महिलाएँ
✔ महिलाओं को AI की दुनिया में करियर के लिए तैयार किया जा सके
यानी यह पहल छात्राओं और महिलाओं को AI में सीखने, परियोजना अनुभव, प्रमाणन और रोजगार के लिए तैयार करती है।
📘 3. प्रशिक्षण और कौशल (Training & Skills)
🎓 AI Skilling Training Program
✔ कुल 240 घंटे का AI प्रशिक्षण कोर्स
✔ Microsoft के सहयोग से तैयार कॉर्स
✔ राष्ट्रीय कौशल मानकों (NCVET) के अनुसार syllabus
✔ Hands‑on प्रोजेक्ट, industry tools, real AI applications
✔ Women को AI certifications दिए जाते हैं
✔ Career guidance, internships, apprenticeships और fellowships भी उपलब्ध
✔ Rural/Urban दोनों महिला छात्रों को प्रशिक्षण मिलता है
🏫 4. Centers of Excellence (Hub & Spoke Model)
इस योजना में 30 Centers of Excellence (CoE) बनाए जा रहे हैं, जो मुख्य हब के रूप में काम करेंगे, और 150 अतिरिक्त महिला महाविद्यालय इन केंद्रों से जुड़े होंगे।
📍 खास बात: यह नेटवर्क Tier‑II और Tier‑III शहरों तक फैला हुआ है, ताकि ग्रामीण/छोटे शहरों की महिलाएँ भी लाभ उठा सकें।

Although eligibility details for application vary by implementing institution, typical requirements include:

✔ Identity documents (Aadhaar/ID)
✔ Contact details (email & mobile)
✔ Educational background
✔ Resume (if applicable for internship/job pathways)
Note: Individual Centers of Excellence will communicate specific registration steps.

This initiative is run through participating higher education institutions and the Centers of Excellence network.
Steps generally include:
- Visit your eligible Institute/University offering the program.
- Register for AI Careers for Women training through institutional portals or announcements.
- Submit required documents and academic information.
- Attend orientation and begin AI training modules.
- Complete projects, assessments, and certifications.
- Get career support and placement assistance where available.
